Lake Powell is a paddler’s dream. With the majestic canyon walls and incredible slot canyons, it is unlike anywhere else on earth. We will take you to one of the world’s most amazing places to SUP (Stand-up Paddleboard) or kayak here at Lake Powell- Antelope Canyon.

Antelope Canyon is world-renowned for its incredible slot canyon, but few have seen it from the water. We paddle from the Antelope Point Public Boat Ramp into the canyon where you will be floating in a deep canyon with beautiful red cliffs surrounding you.

Daily Tours: October 2020

  • 5 Hour – 8 am Early Morning Kayak/Paddleboard Tour – $135 per person
  • 3 Hour – 1 pm Kayaking Tour* – $95 per person
  • 2 Hour – 4 pm Kayaking Tour* $75 per person

    *This is for kayaks only and no experience is necessary. Tour is subject to weather. If it is windy tour may be canceled and will be refunded in full. All levels of kayakers are welcome!

The minimum age for participating paddlers is 12 years old. Children age 6 to 11 must ride along with an adult. No one under 6 years old permitted on tours. Children under 13 are required by law to wear a life jacket at all times!

You can choose either a paddleboard (if experienced) or a kayak to use on the tours. We offer only small supervised groups, and you can use a kayak or paddleboard- your choice**

We offer 3 different length tours of Antelope Canyon

Our 3-hour tour is about 3 miles (4.8 km) of paddling, great for beginner kayakers and we have a longer 6 mile (9.6 km) tour that includes an awesome hike for the more advanced paddlers! These tours are only for people who have paddleboarded before, not for beginner paddleboarders. We also have a 2-hour 4 pm kayak only tour. All levels of kayakers are welcome!

8 am 5 Hour Tour with Hike: $135.00 per person. 2 person minimum.

Approximately 5 hours.

**Due to the distance and time restraints, this tour is only for people who have paddleboarded before, not for beginner paddleboarders! All levels of kayakers are welcome!

On this tour, you will meander all the way through the entire water portion of the canyon, hike, and then paddle back to the Antelope Point boat ramp. There will be plenty of time for taking photos, swimming and relaxing. Water and snacks provided. Hiking shoes, athletic shoes or sturdy sandals are a must. On our 5 hour tour, we take you through a section of Antelope Canyon you can only reach by paddling to it!

This tour is a 5 hour, approximately 6 mile (9.66 km) round trip paddle with an approximately 2 mile (3.2 km) hike at the back, depending on conditions, weather, time and water levels. The best experience is the early tour due to weather and boat traffic that is why we go early!

How it works:

We will meet you at the shop at 7:15 am (PACIFIC TIME) where you will fill out your paperwork and we will give you a map and all the information for the tour. You will then drive yourself from the shop to the Antelope Point Boat Launch. The drive is approximately 11 miles (17.7 km), where you will enter the park and meet your guide. PLEASE NOTE: $30.00 National Park entry fee not included. This is per car, not per person, and is good for 7 days.* Transportation to the lake is not provided due to Park Service regulations. You must drive yourself and pay to enter the Park.

**Please NOTE: All tours, except the Beginner Paddleboard Tour, require prior paddleboarding experience if you want to paddleboard. No experience necessary if kayaking.

Short Tours- 1 pm or 4 pm start times

Our short tours still give you a great view of Antelope Canyon!  We will wind our way through the canyon then turn back and you get to see it from a whole new angle on the return. Each tour time offers different lighting and all are amazing!

How it works:

1 pm Tour: $95.00 per person. 2 person minimum.

Approximately 3 hours.

We meet at the shop 45 minutes prior to your start time (for example, If your tour starts at 1 pm please be at our shop at 12:15 pm). Here you will fill out your paperwork and we will give you a map and all the information for the tour. You will then drive yourself from the shop to the Antelope Point Boat Launch. The drive is approximately 11 miles (17.7 km), where you will enter the park and meet your guide. PLEASE NOTE: There is a $30.00 National Park entry fee not included in tour price which is payable by cash or card at the Park entrance. We paddle approximately 3 miles (4.83 km) partway into the canyon then turn back and still have time for swimming and checking out the area. There will be plenty of time for taking photos and enjoying the environment. This tour does not include a hike.

4 pm Tour: $75.00 per person. 2 person minimum.

Approximately 2 hours.

4 pm Tour: This kayak tour is approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) of paddling. A perfect activity for the late afternoon after a full day here! This is a shorter 2-hour tour.

This is the perfect trip for beginners or people that aren’t up for the longer trip but still want to see the canyon. There will be plenty of time for taking photos and enjoying the environment. This tour does not include a hike and is for kayaks only due to possible wind.

$75.00 per person, 2 person minimum. Water and snacks provided.

TIME and TIME ZONE:

All times on our site and confirmations are in ARIZONA TIME (Summer: Same time as Pacific Time; Winter: Same time as Mountain Time. – No Daylight Saving Time – Not Utah Time – Not Navajo Nation Time). Because the Utah State Line is less than 7 miles away, cell phone towers from Utah (and the surrounding Navajo Nation) often will be the wrong time! Do yourself a favor and do like the locals do: Manually set your cell phone to PHOENIX, AZ time.

On the long tour, at the back of the canyon, there is an amazing hike into a part of the slot area.

Though not as dramatic as the official Navajo land portion of the slot canyon, it is still well worth the trip!

Tours include time for swimming and relaxing in the warm sun, conditions, time and weather permitting. With summer water temperatures reaching up to 80 °F  (26 °C) , it is a fun way to stay cool while exploring our amazing lake.

*Lake Powell is managed by the Glen Canyon National Park.  The Park encompasses the entire lake. All activities in the National Park are subject to the National Park entrance fee. Payment is made at any Park entrance station and is good for 7 days.
