Points of Interest:
The Toadstools:
The trail is about 30 miles west of Lake Powell and 40 miles east of Kanab, Utah on Hwy. 89. From the interpretive sign at the start of the trail: “What is a Toadstool? A toadstool is a spire-like feature with a boulder perched atop a pedestal rock, like a mushroom, or ‘toadstool’. It forms when softer rock erodes away, leaving a column sheltered from the wind and water.”

Horseshoe Bend: A horseshoe-shaped incised meander of the Colorado River located near the town of Page. One of the icons of the area.
The Slot Canyons located near Page on Navajo Nation land, just outside Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and close to AZ 98 are a few miles east of town. Antelope Canyon is the most visited slot canyon in the Southwest, partly because it is easily accessible and by far the most publicized, and also since it is extremely beautiful, with just the right combination of depth, width, length, rock color and ambient light; many other slot canyons are deeper, narrower or longer, and some have rock that is even more colorful and sculptured, but here conditions are ideal. Check out Canyon X tours and Secret Canyon too!
