Paddleboard and Kayak Tours

Lake Powell is a paddler’s dream. With the majestic canyon walls and incredible slot canyons, it is unlike anywhere else on earth. From short tours for beginners to longer  adventures Lake Powell Paddleboards will take you to some of the world’s most amazing places to SUP (Stand-up Paddle) or kayak here at Lake Powell.

Antelope Canyon is world-renowned for it’s incredible slot canyon, but few have seen it from the water. We paddle from the Antelope Point Boat ramp into the canyon where you will be floating in a deep canyon with beautiful red cliffs surrounding you.

We offer morning kayak or paddleboard tours and afternoon kayak tours.

Tour Times:

Morning tours start at the shop at 6:00 am

and afternoon tours start at 12:45pm.

All times on our site and confirmations are in ARIZONA TIME (Summer time: Same time as Pacific Time; Winter time Same time as Mountain Time. – No Daylight Saving Time – Not Utah Time – Not Navajo Nation Time). Because the Utah State Line is less than 7 miles away, cell phone towers from Utah (and the surrounding Navajo Nation) often will be the wrong time! Do yourself a favor and do like the locals do: Manually set your cell phone to PHOENIX, AZ time.

How it works:

You will follow us from the shop to the Antelope Point Boat Launch. The drive is approximately 11 miles (17.7 km), where we will enter the park and launch. You can choose either a paddleboard or a kayak to use on the morning tours. We offer only small supervised groups, and you can use a kayak or paddleboard- your choice! Just let us know when you reserve which you prefer. For afternoon tours they are on kayaks only.

We offer 2 different tours of Antelope Canyon.

One for beginners that is about 3 miles (4.83 km) of paddling, and a longer 6-mile tour that includes an awesome hike for the more advanced paddlers!

Beginner Tour- 3 Hours:

Start at the shop at 6:00 am

or 12:45 pm for afternoon tours.

We paddle approximately 3 miles (4.83 km) part way into the canyon then turn back and still have time for swimming and checking out the area. There will be plenty of time for taking photos and enjoying the environment.

This is the perfect trip for beginners or people that aren’t up for the longer trip but still want to see part of the canyon. A lesson is included so no experience is necessary!

$95.00 per person, plus tax. 2 person minimum. Water and snacks provided.

PLEASE NOTE: $30.00 National Park entry fee not included. This is per car not per person, and is good for 7 days.*

Experienced Tour – 5 hours:

Starts at 6:00 am

We offer a 5 hour, approximately 6 mile (9.66 km) round trip paddle through the entire length of the canyon with an approximately 2 mile (3.2 km) hike at the back, depending on water levels. This tour is for experienced paddlers only.

Here the canyon gets narrower the further back you go until only paddleboards and kayaks can go into it.

At the back of the canyon, there is an amazing hike into part of the slot area.

Though not as dramatic as the official Navajo land portion of the slot canyon, it is still well worth the trip!

On this tour, you will meander all the way through the entire water portion of the canyon, hike and then paddle back to the Antelope Point boat ramp.

There will be plenty of time for taking photos, swimming and relaxing. Water and snacks provided. Hiking shoes, athletic shoes or sturdy sandals are a must.

$135.00 per person, plus tax. 2 person minimum. Water and snacks provided.

PLEASE NOTE: $30.00 National Park entry fee not included. This is per car not per person, and is good for 7 days.*
