Cancellation Policy

Lake Powell Paddleboards reserves the right to cancel any tour, lesson or rental prior to departure for any reason whatsoever. In the case that we cancel a tour or rental, you will receive a full refund. 

Refunds:

  • If we receive your notice of cancellation more than 24 hours prior to reservation time, you will receive a 100% refund.
  • If we receive your notice less than 24 hours prior to your reserved time, no refunds will be given.
  • Same-day bookings, no shows, late arrivals are not refundable.
  • Guests may request to reschedule, subject to availability and a same-day rescheduling fee. If we request a schedule change due to weather or operational conditions, no rescheduling fee will apply.
  • Same day activity or rental changes are not refundable. 

  • Participation is voluntary, and each participant is responsible for determining whether they are comfortable and capable of completing the activity. No refunds will be issued on the day of the activity if a participant chooses not to participate, is unable to participate, or is unable to complete the activity due to physical limitations, mobility restrictions, size, weight, fitness level, medical conditions, fear, discomfort, or other personal factors.

Weather Policy:

We operate rain or shine.

  • Wind is our biggest safety concern and the most common reason we would cancel. 
  • We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions pose a risk to guests, staff, or equipment.
  • If we cancel for weather, safety, or operational reasons a full refund is provided. 
  •  When weather conditions may affect your tour or rental, we may offer an alternative start time, a reschedule, or a refund. Guests who choose to reschedule waive their right to a refund for the original reservation. Once a reservation has been moved to a new date, it is subject to our standard cancellation policy and is no longer eligible for a refund

Same Day Reschedules:

  • Requests to reschedule made within 24 hours of your scheduled activity are subject to a $35 rescheduling fee per reservation. This fee helps cover staffing, equipment preparation, and operational costs that have already been incurred.
  • Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
  • If Lake Powell Paddleboards & Kayaks requests that you reschedule due to weather or other operational conditions, no rescheduling fee will apply.

 

 

If you need to cancel or reschedule please email your request to info@lakepowellpaddleboards.com. The cancellation notice date is the date the email was received at info@lakepowellpaddleboards.com. No phone cancellations will be accepted. 

 

 

Park Closure Policy: In lieu of a pandemic like COVID-19, government shutdown or other circumstances beyond our control and the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area gets shut down by the Park Service all existing reservations will be converted into a voucher for future use at a time of your choosing. No refunds will be given. These vouchers will be good for 1 year.
