All participants must come to our store to check-in and complete waivers. While checking in we will go over a map and give you directions to get out to the Wahweap Marina boat ramp. Before leaving our shop your group will grab lifejackets and then drive yourselves out to the boat ramp to meet your gear.

All Lake Powell Rentals Include: Sit on top Kayak or Stand up Paddleboard, Quality Paddles, Life Jacket (PFD), Maps and Delivery & Pick up from Wahweap Boat Ramp. You can add on a dry bag rental for $10 (first come first serve if you do not add to your reservation)

What you should bring: Food, Water, Appropriate Seasonal Attire, Sun Screen, Sturdy sandal or running shoes, Camera or Phone with Dry Storage (you will get wet!), National Park Pass or you will be responsible for $30 fee(can be purchased at entrance station).

Other Things to Know:

Rentals are subject to weather! Windy conditions can create unsafe situations. Be prepared check the weather! Weather Information

PLEASE NOTE: Lake Powell is inside the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. $30.00 National Park entry fee not included. You pay at the park entrance by cash, credit card or annual national park pass. The $30 fee is per car, not per person, and is good for 7 days in our area.

TIME and TIME ZONE: All times on our site and confirmations are in ARIZONA TIME (Summer: Same time as Pacific Time; Winter: Same time as Mountain Time. – No Daylight Saving Time – Not Utah Time – Not Navajo Nation Time). Because the Utah State Line is less than 7 miles away, cell phone towers from Utah (and the surrounding Navajo Nation) often will be the wrong time! Do yourself a favor and do like the locals do: Manually set your cell phone to PHOENIX, AZ time.

**If you are wanting to rent gear for multiple days and are wanting to launch and retrieve from a location other than the Wahweap Boat Ramp you will have to pick up the gear from our store location (836 Vista Ave.) Due to insurance reasons we cannot help you load or unload your vehicle. Make sure your vehicle has four doors and a solid roof if you plan to load the gear on top of your vehicle. No it will not fit in your trunk.

Please call or email us at contact@lakepowellpaddleboards.com if you plan to pick up your gear from our store.
