AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

Position Type: Full Time

Duration: Seasonal. March – November

Location: Page, Arizona

Seasonal Position | Active 5–8 Hour Shifts | Weekends & Holidays Required

About the Role

As an Adventure Coordinator / Rental Associate at Lake Powell Paddleboards and Kayaks (LPPK), you’ll be at the center of everything we do—from welcoming guests in our storefront to helping them launch their on-the-water adventures. This role blends customer service, teamwork, and outdoor fun in one of the most breathtaking locations in the Southwest.

You’ll be the friendly face greeting guests when they arrive, helping them get checked in, and talking them through their gear and tour options. Your support helps people feel comfortable and excited before they head out. Whether you’re helping a first-time paddler find their footing or teaming up with your coworkers to keep the day flowing smoothly, you’ll play an important part in making sure every guest feels safe, confident, and ready for a great adventure.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience & Front-of-House

  • Greet and check in guests for rentals and tours.
  • Advise walk-ins on available activities and help them choose the best experience for their skill level.
  • Clearly explain how rentals and tours work, including safety and equipment use.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and coworkers to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Keep the storefront tidy, organized, and welcoming throughout the day.

     

Rental & On-the-Water Operations

  • Assist guests at the water with launching, returning, and handling gear.
  • Load and unload kayaks, paddleboards, and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ensure all rentals are properly fitted, safe, and ready for use.
  • Support other team members with gear prep, vehicle loading, and daily setup/cleanup.
  • Represent LPPK with a friendly, professional attitude and a love for the outdoors.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stay active throughout a 5–10 hour shift.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a desert climate and summer heat.
  • Strong communication skills in English—verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills; calm and positive under pressure.
  • Basic computer and POS system experience with some knowledge of Google suite. (preferred)
  • Self-starter with strong organization and multitasking abilities.
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements for all Positions

  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Can creatively problem solve
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Cell phone with texting capabilities
  • Strong communication & speaking skills
  • Clean professional appearance
  • Being on time!
 
Things to Note:
 
Training is provided for all positions but preference is given to those with experience or those presenting with eagerness to join our team. Employee housing is available on a first come first served basis.
