Experience the thrill of cruising over 30 miles of crystal-clear waters, then hop into a top-of-the-line kayak or paddleboard to explore breathtaking spots like Lake Powell’s Rainbow Bridge, Glen Canyon Dam, Wetherill Canyon, West Canyon, and Labyrinth Canyon.

  • Tours are subject to weather! Windy conditions can create unsafe conditions. Flash floods can prevent us from hiking. Stay up to date on current weather information.
  • These tours are not recommended for individuals with mobility issues. Each participant must be able to walk up and down a sandy hill as well as step in and out of a boat. Wind can also make this tour challenging.
  • Due to Park Service regulations, transportation to the lake is not provided. You must drive to the lake.
  • Lake Powell is located in the Glen Canyon National Park. PLEASE NOTE: There is a $30.00 National Park entry fee not included in the tour price, payable by cash or card at the Park entrance. This is per car, not per person, and is good for 7 days.* Transportation to the lake is not provided due to Park Service regulations.

Details

  • When: Our Up Lake trips usually depart early in the morning but we can do our best to work to what is convenient for your itinerary.
  • Where: Once your itinerary is finalized you will be provided with the exact meeting location. It will be located within the recreation area.
  • What is Provided: Single kayak, double kayak or stand up paddleboard for each member of your party, life jacket (PFD), paddle, dry bag, splash gear in colder season, lunch, snacks and soft drinks.
  • What to Wear: Please come dressed and ready for your activity! Sturdy sandals or shoes that can get wet, synthetic layers to help keep you warm or cool, SUNSCREEN and hat.
  • What to Bring: Water bottle, camera and an adventurous attitude!

  • Each tour is customized to your group’s interests, visiting popular spots like Rainbow Bridge, Glen Canyon Dam, Wetherill Canyon, West Canyon, and Labyrinth Canyon.
  • Hike into uncrowded slot canyons and areas only accessible by boat, like Rainbow Bridge National Monument.
  • Don’t worry about logistics! We provide everything you need for a day of adventure, from top-notch kayaks to all necessary gear.
  • Our private tours cater to everyone, whether you’re a seasoned paddler or a first-time explorer.

Full Day Private Up-Lake Tour

Join us on a full day boat and paddle adventure. With our knowledgeable and experienced guides you will paddle in some of the most remote spots on Lake Powell. You will get to paddle through towering sandstone canyons and hike narrow uncharted slot canyons.

Half Day Private Up-Lake Tour

Join us on a half day boat and paddle adventure. Choose either a morning or afternoon trip and zip up the lake in our custom support boat and paddle in some picturesque canyons. Paddle and hike through some of Lake Powells best canyons while avoiding the crowds.

With the help of our boat we travel north-east on Lake Powell to more secluded canyons.
Yes, please call or book online at least a week before your trip. Call for last minute bookings.
Yes! As long as we are able to launch a boat they will go.
We offer a half day and full day option. Approximately 6 or 8 hours.
No, there are better and less crowded canyons on the lake.
Because these are private they can be tailored to the groups needs, however weather or unforeseen circumstances could make this tour moderate to difficult. This activity is not recommended for individuals with mobility issues.
While we feel that gratuity is a very personal decision and should reflect the level of service you receive, we are often asked to provide guidelines. Your tour guide is extremely hardworking and committed to providing you the best service possible. A gratuity of 15-20% the rate of your trip is customary and deeply appreciated by our guides. While cash is best, if you forgot cash be sure to ask your guide or our shop staff how you can tip!
Unfortunately due to National Park guidelines dogs are not permitted on tours.
These tours are limited to 6 people in your group.
